WAYS TO PREVENT WRINKLES
1. Sleep- Yes sleeping can prevent wrinkles. When you don't get enough sleep, the body produces excess cortisol, a hormone that breaks down skin cells. So ladies try and get your beauty sleep.
2. PROTECT YOUR SKIN FROM THE SUN- I know I know every girl loves a good tan, but tanning actually hurts your skin when you wear no sun screen or when you are in it to long. As you get older, the genes that control inflammation, the production and strength of collagen, and your skin's ability to retain water begin to behave in a way that encourages the formation of wrinkles. Those changes are caused by mutations which can either be point mutations or frame shift mutations. A study found that aged skin that hadn't been exposed to the sun had about 3,800 genetic mutations, while skin that had been exposed to the sun had around 10,000 mutations in the same genes!
3.DON'T SMOKE- Do i need to explain the reasoning behind this?????..................................... look up smokers lips that should sum it up for you guys
4. Be happy- Yes I said it BE HAPPY! A study showed that people who are happy in life have less wrinkles then someone who is unhappy. So be HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY ladies
5. Drink more water-It’s simple. Drinking 6-8 glasses of water a day helps skin keep it’s moisture and elasticity. Water also flushes out any harmful toxins your body may have, which would add to skin problems.
6 Use a good moisturizing cream- Cetiphil is ranked as #1 skin moisturizing cream that is in the drug store. I just did a blog post about this cream. I love this cream and will continue to use it.
7. A good diet- Natural ingredients in whole foods help increase cell turnover and boost collagen, while sugar-packed foods can damage collagen. Try to include these foods into your diet:
Fish The fatty acids found in fish, especially salmon, help nourish skin and keep it plump.
Soy In one study, published in the European Journal of Nutrition, researchers found that a soy-based supplement improved skin's structure and firmness after just six months.
Fruits and veggies they’re packed with antioxidants, which help to fight skin damage. Eat 5-8 servings a day, and focus on green, leafy veggies, and red and blue berries.
8. Work out- Cardio overkill in your workout isn’t benefiting your skin as much as you think. A strength-training regimen creates better muscle tone, which prevents sagging skin. Your workout could also use yoga, which can help prevent breakouts, fight stress, and make you look younger.
9. Watch Out For That Sugar-Avoid processed and refined foods and sugars. They contain chemicals that can cause your skin to age prematurely.
10. Try to Sleep On Your Back- Sleeping with your face pressed against the pillow can cause sleep lines, which can turn into wrinkles. Satin pillow cases can also help in the anti-wrinkle fight.
